Big Weekend for Junior teams
Attention this weekend turns to the first round of the junior league finals in UUJ where Belfast Star teams figure prominently.
On Saturday the U16s face Lisburn at 1.30pm and at 3pm Carrickmacross provide the opposition in the U14 final, the latter being a repeat of last years thrilling U13 final.
Winners of both finals will go forward to represent BNI in the All-Ireland Club Championships in April.
On Sunday the U13s face Castleblayney in the last regular season game. A victory will not only give them the league title but secure a place in the championship game on March 21 in UUJ along with the U17s who face Queens at 2pm on the same day.
