Under - 15 boys (A) preseason win!
Belfast Star's under 15 boys set a benchmark for their season with Saturdays preseason win against Belfast rivals Queens. It was a brilliant team display that concluded with a comprehensive victory, a win by 24 points. The second quarter was the turning point when Star stepped up their defensive intensity causing Queens real problems with their offense. Star kept up the pressure for the rest of the game and ran out comfortable winners. No individuals can be mentioned as it was truly a great team effort with everyone scoring and as a team amassing a total tally of 47 points. This can only be taken as a good sign of things to come for this team and they will be dying to try and duplicate this performance against their next opponents in the first game of the regular season.Go Back
