The long wait is over - pre-season is over, let battle commence! Put down your sabres, this is going to be a duel next Saturday night at Queens PEC as Belfast Star host UCC Demons. Demons have been the nemesis of Star in recent seasons, in particular pipping Star in two gripping battles in the National Cup. They have been one of the most successful clubs in the country in the past decade so the home fans need to turn out in force and make the PEC a tough place to play for visiting teams.
Star made the playoffs last year, can we go further this year? It's a new look team, 2 new professionals and 2 new Irish signings and hopes are high. Should be fun! Tip off is at 7.30pm.
